    For the mechanically inclined

Posted by Jon M on 12th Jun 2019

After many adjustment and some tinkering, the kids are having a blast with this bike. I did have to modify the throttle limiter as it’s a bit too fast for little ones. This bike is good for the back yard but certainly not tough enough for any hard riding through rough terrain. My suggestions to save you some time:
    1. Remove the clutch from the crank shaft and apply good LocTite to the threads of the bolts that attach it before re- assembling (don’t loose the washers!). Our clutch locked up after a bit and was easily fixed that way.
    2. The Chain will need some attention. Make sure that it is properly aligned or it will definitely come off! I found that the adjusters on the rear axle weren’t very good for this, but it wasn’t too difficult to adjust the alignment of the chain by loosening the engine mounting bolts and scooting the engine over.
Overall, it’s an ok bike for the money in my opinion. Just don’t expect KTM quality without the price!

Great bike after figuring out why the chain wouldn't stay on... Just loosen motor mounts and slide engine over. Also make sure to take clutch apart and pull the two bolts put and lock Tite them. They come.loose and the clutch will lock up. Otherwise happy with the bike for the price.

    Great little bike

Bike is very fast for a kids bike. My son is 4 and the throttle cable adjustment didn't slow it down enough so I made a spacer that went on the throttle cable above the slide in the carb. Works great. Make sure you pull all the bolts and loctite them. Also the springs on the rewind are cheap so don't pull the starter rope to hard. The bike runs great and the suspension and all that works great.

Bought this for my 7 year old son. Bike was easy to assemble. He learned to ride an automatic in just 3 hours.
