Great bike. Loud exhaust. The valves in the engine were tightened all the way in, the bike ran but you couldn’t even fit a .001 feeler gauge in there (they are supposed to have .003” gap for the intake and .004” for exhaust). Btw, if you’re buying any one of these bikes(I bought 2 different bikes and they both needed the valves adjusted)... LOOK UP HOW TO ADJUST THE VALVES and do it!!! It’s really easy, there are lots of videos on YouTube showing how to do it and it takes less than ten minutes. The feeler gauge tool to measure them is $5 and you adjust them with a regular wrench. Also the carbs on these bikes bog when you give them throttle off Idle and you can’t adjust them so you have to buy a new one if you want it to run right(the idle mixture screw is plugged off, the cap on the top has a plug stopping you from taking it off, the screws to get the float bowl off are plugged, the needle only has one notch so you can’t richen it up). Also, take every bolt out one by one and PUT LOCTITE ON ALL OF THEM. Make sure you tighten everything up, check your tire pressures, check your wheel spokes, check your chain, and keep an eye on anything coming loose and they should last you a long time. I had an orion 70 for 8 years and it was a great bike (still worked good when I sold it).
This my first bike. Had an avid mx guy ride it sais it's perfect and couldnt have done any better
Great bike. Im 5'10, 140lbs and this thing rips!!! Upgraded to the 24,mm carb and it really moves. Plus Orion was a pleasure to work with. Im really enjoying this bike.
It’s by far the best bang for your buck out there for the price. It’s runs good (if you have mechanical knowledge) and looks good. Flaws are some of it are the fuel on/off lever is right where you leg is so it constantly hits on it but you can relocate it nbd, rear shock is was to stiff even for a 180lb+ person and the seat is way to hard.
Seems to be OK for the money. I would recommend to anybody as long as they have some mechanical know how. Can defiantly tell some parts a cheap China throw away parts but It's a decent base to start a build if you can't afford a quality jap bike. After a few upgrades it will be a nice bike. Only complaint is they said they would contact me if my color wasn't available but did not. And the picture showing the red color option has a blue seat and mine came with a black seat. Very minor detail but still disappointed. Again it seems to be a nice bike for the money but only time will tell.
Like I said, great bike! Started up right away and sounds surprisingly beefy. Also plenty fast, at least for me. I'm about 5'10" 130lbs. Highly recommend if your just starting or have never rode a dirt bike before , but want to get started. One thing to note, don't expect to get the color that you ordered. My first choice was black (the gray plastics, red frame) and second was green (green plastics, black frame). What I got was red (red plastics, red frame, and gray seat). I honestly like it way more than any of the options pictured, but it definitely was a(n awesome) surprise! Once again great bike, highly recommended!
Ps. Don't hesitate to call! There customer service is very friendly and helpful!
This is my second Apollo X15 from Orion and I love it. Great bike for the money. Hauls my 220lb body around just fine.
