Good product with a good and price, quick e efficient delivery
Received the bike very quickly (in about 4 days). I chose the option to have the bike delivered un-assembled. When possible, I like to do the work myself to ensure all hardware is tight, straight, etc. I've gone through the bike extensively and it looks to be of very good quality. I am very impressed with the overall fit and finish. I think the biggest plus is the fact you can adjust the front and rear suspension just like a much more expensive bike. The plastics are definitely from a 2015 KTM. I removed all of the factory decals and replaced with a decal kit made specifically for a KTM and everything fit with no cutting or modifying of any kind. The only other thing I added was an aftermarket exhaust with a DB killer. While the stock exhaust is not ear piercing loud, it is a bit loud for the area I live. As far as performance, I only have about an hour on the bike...trying to take it easy during the break in period. Seems to have plenty of power for my style of riding (woods, trails, etc.). I'm sure the bike would do just fine on the track but the only thing to remember is that it is pretty heavy. I noticed this the first time I put it on a stand. Many of the parts are steel, not aluminium which will increase the weight. The good news is that the majority of the parts can be changed out with lighter, aluminium components if that's your thing. For me, it's perfect for light to moderate riding. The size is also great. I am 5' 9" and about 195 lbs and it fits me well. It's big, but not too big. Specs are about the same as a standard 250 / 450 dirt bike. Also, the support from Orion is great. I had a couple questions and they responded back via email within an hour. Good company, good bike - highly recommended!
Welcome to the Chinese Burn. The rear shock and forks remind of Showa suspension and they work, The frame feels sturdy, dependable, and holds the line with a nice skid plate. The motor by EGL is a great entry level or returning rider back to the dirt with fun. Neck bearing on all RXB 250 plus L model are set a little tight and need a re torque. If you want fold able levers - put Chinese replica cr honda master cylinder and crf 450 clutch 2008 perch or newer. The sitting position reminds you of a pre 2003 model bike. Which is great. Electric start and kick start. Cooling plastic fins to cool cylinder head and motor. If you want better handling lace up a 19 inch rear wheel. If you want to lower it lace up a 19inch front wheel. Muffler is double mounted. Nice air cleaner box. Easily adapted to street legal in Idaho. Only part missing oring chain. Have fun and enjoy.
AMAZING customer service at Orion Power Sports!! I always get email responses and excellent help over the phone. The RXB 250 came by FedEx Freight. It was packed nice and secured great. I followed the instructions of changing out the oil before my first ride. The bike itself runs great. I’m very happy with the bike and the entire ordering process. Wish more companies would take notes from Orion Power Sports.
Owning 9 race bikes at one point in my life, I can say this is a very high quality bike. Powder coating is amazingly good, plastics are off a 2015 KTM and are very thick, engine is very smooth and better than expexted. The bad, the graphics on the plastics were bubbling and peeling before I assembled it, the shipping crate was absolutely destroyed when I picked it up from the shipping company and there are rubbing marks from the bike being loose on the left side panel and the front wheel.
Very happy with the bike overall, shipping was a joke and took almost 10 days to get to the facility where I had to pick it up. I would buy again and might for a second race bike.
This is a GREAT trail bike! Has fantastic suspension front and back, engine is smooth with very tractable power, and bike is put together very well. It's no power-house, but it will move when you want it to. The engine is as reliable as they come, especially when proper maintenance schedules are followed. The exhaust note is really LOUD, but with a quiet core install it will bring the Db's down to acceptable levels. I am looking forward to many, many miles of fun and trails with this dirt bike.
I was skeptical, as most are with a "blind purchase", but both the experience and the bike itself truly impressed me.
With just minor adjustment of the suspension, I was enjoying myself more on this bike that I had on my last two dirt bikes put together. Actually, I'm faster on this bike than my old projects because I can confidently use all the bike has to offer.
Quality is higher than I expected, ergonomics are good, and performance is just what I wanted...race-bike handling with an engine I can use all of.
I'm looking forward to many years of riding this one.
I bought this bike with really low expectations but I must say it has surpassed them greatly. With this bike being so new, there really weren’t a lot of helpful videos or reviews online. Buying it pretty much blindfolded was a great buy though. This thing looks sick, sounds great and rides really nice. I’ve ridden it about 5 hours total now and haven’t had any issues or complaints yet. The power isn’t like an mx bike, but is super manageable and it’s there when you need it, the electric start makes the riding experience a breeze but having the kickstart as a backup is really nice too, tires grip well from the factory and put down a smooth ride. This bike is the perfect bike to have if you want a trail rider, a bike to ride with your kids, or just a spare bike to have in case you got a buddy that wants to tag along. As far as putting it together goes, it was pretty self explanatory. If you’re not mechanically inclined, I would recommend getting it assembled. If you’re eager to learn, get it unassembled and learn something! This bike is great for beginners, intermediate, or even long time riders. You can’t beat that price for a brand new bike either, I can’t imagine spending $8-$9k on something similar. I’m very impressed with this bike overall, and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good bike at a great price. The staff at Orion Powersports were grade A professionals too, answering any questions or concerns I had and in a very short amount of time. I’ll be enjoying this bike for a while, and it definitely won’t be my last buy from Orion Powersports! (Next bike: Orion XS125)
This bike looks like a motocrosser, but it's a trail bike. My son is riding an XR250, so that's my comparison. We rode together all day, and on trails, my RXB was equivalent. On hill climbs, the RXB had the power and torque to climb any hill, no matter how steep. The only time the XR outshone my RXB, was a very long, high speed uphill. The XR pulled away from the RXB, since it has 30hp compared to the RXB's 18hp.
Most of my riding is in the woods on tight trails, riding with my younger kids on smaller trail bikes and quads. My RXB feels light and nimble in the woods, on trails that are tight, but nothing too technical like jumps or tree crossings.
I'm loving my RXB.
Also, it sounds great! And, my first off-road bike with electric start. Now wouldn't have it any other way.
